Frustrated!!

I think when times get tough both diet wise and just life in general I retreat. Maybe I think my sticking my head in the sand things will magically get better? Ha! Anyways...I have had a few bad days but they have been followed by me getting right back on plan and sticking with it. My frustration comes from how it seems no matter how much I follow the plan I do not lose. I started this blog late April and I am still only down MAYBE 5lbs...It frustrates me and is one of the reasons I think I have those bad days. When I did WW back in 2004 I dropped 40lbs within 3-4 months. I have now been working on a lifestyle change since January and am barely down 22lbs. Ugh. I was hoping to be to my goal of 150lbs before the end of the year! We leave for a week at the cabin next week and my very mini goal is to get to 165lb.

As for working out, I have started following the Couch to 5K program. I am going to stay on the first week for a few extra days since I am SOOOO not a runner. I never have been nor have I ran since the mile run back in high school many years ago. I feel GREAT when I am finished but boy my lungs are not used to this! Here is a brief run down of the program: !
I found a couple of really neat podcasts with more of my style music to listen to while running which helps to make time pass quickly AND it even ques you when to run/walk. Love it!!


I have also learned my 'trigger time' of the day is the afternoon, especially the 4:00-6:00 stretch. Lately popcorn has been helping curb that munchy feeling, any other snacks or tips you use?

the podcast sounds great, i've heard a lot about those, but haven't downloaded any yet.
