Blast From the Past

Wow, a year has gone by since I have even logged in to Blogger. Opps!

Last time I posted I mentioned how I was doing the Biggest Loser competition at our lcoal YMCA. I loved the program and trying new exercise programs that I would have been scared to try before. There was a lot of helpful information at each class pertaining to different topics each week. (My favorite was meal planning) But things did not go that well for me.

Actually today I sit here approx. 15lbs heavier then I did last year.

But I have a pretty good reason.




Make that a pretty cute reason. Three weeks into the program we found out we were expecting, what timing right? So this summer we welcomed little Quincy into our lives. My c-section recovery was far from smooth and still three months later I have some issues. I am anxious to get back to the gym but have been a tad apprehensive due to that.

However, next week once again the Biggest Loser program starts and I will be there. No excuses this time, ha! I will update my weight with what their scale says to help stay on target. I do know my ultimate goal is still 155. This program runs for 10 weeks and right now I am aiming for 15lbs. To little you think? I hate to aim high, get discouraged and then set myself up for failure. Another goal is to try to update regularly. Daily can be hard with the hubby working evenings and me wrangling three kids + playing taxi to/from soccer, swim, gymnastics and more. Even 2x per week is a start!
