I hope that by putting myself out here it will help keep me on track. Losing weight has always been a constant struggle. Especially with temptations all around and a husband who does not know the meaning of diet. I have been "trying" to stick with a healthy eating plan since January 1st. The first few weeks were good but then the temptations won out but I got back on track...For a few days. That is where my big problem lies. I do good for either thee days, a week or however long and then I fall down that slippery slope and cannot find my way back up.
I plan to follow the Weight Watchers program. I have successfully lost 45lbs on it before and it works for me--if I follow the plan! I already have been working out 4-6 times per week but I need to change it up and extend my workouts. Lately I have been getting up early and using the elliptical for 20-30 minutes. I plan to start incorporating more floor exercises. I have an exercise ball, hand weights and a resistance band so now to put them to use. Any suggestions?
My goal weight for right now is to get back to the weight I was at my first OB appointment with my second child, 155. My ideal weight is anywhere between 140-150, that is where I am comfortable and feel good in my size 10's. Even way back when in high school (you know back when you thought you were fat?) that was my weight/size. I got back down to it after my first child and can do it again, so lets go!
Jan 1st 2009 WI: *big gulp here* 191.1
April 25th 2009 WI: 173.4
I would LOVE to lose 10lbs by the end of May, do you think that is a reasonable goal? After that I would REALLY REALLY REALLY love to lose another 10-15lbs by early August. I start my externship then and really do not want to feel like the chubby chick. I want to be able to walk into that office and not have to worry about my weight and feel like all eyes on on me because of it.
Oh and one last thing. I plan to use this blog as my food journal and way to hold myself accountable. I will track what I eat, drink and any exercises on here plus MAYBE post some before/after/inspiration pictures. Time to get cracking!

But, you've got to be focused! I'm loving Weight Watchers, I am so glad that you decided to do it again! How many points to do you get per day? Let's do this chicky!!!
I know what you mean about not knowing the activity level.. I put mine at none since I sit at a desk all day long (during the work week). I am just so glad you are doing WW too!!
Love it Sarah. I think when you start clinicals you will see a difference. I am surprised that in 2 weeks since I started working I have finally starting losing again. Down 3 since then and 8 total. 14 to go. You can do this girl!!!
